Happy 25th Anniversary Tool's "Undertow"

25 years ago today, my favorite band on the planet unleashed on the world an album so ahead of its time that even I never fully appreciated it until recently. Combining the punishing, groove-driven riffs of Helmet with deeper and darker melodies and rhythms, exploring themes of anger, despair, sexual and physical abuse, violence, BDSM, addiction, and more, this album established Tool as a creative force in heavy metal music and set the stage for its groundbreaking follow-up.

-Can we officially shut the fuck up about Jake Locker now? I don't care if he was playing the Pittsburgh Steelers, 4-20 for 71 yards, a TD, and 2 INTs is unacceptable. If you take away a 45 yard TD strike to Jermaine Kearse, he was 3-19 for 26 yards and 2 INTs. Unnamed Footage Festival is all done in sunny San Fransisco, but I was joined by Richard O'hare the writer, Director of Photography, and the Producer of the short film Body Worn Video.
