So Vundablog.com and the Vundacast was well represented at this year's Miami Hurricon 2015 . Danielle, Stephen, Mr. J and Mrs. J hosts of the Vundacast were manning the table and selling sweet mystery bags we called Vunda-bags, and we had a small raffle for some choice lootcrate items. We had a ton of fun meeting new people, spreading the word about the podcast and website, and we were giving out mixtapes to people we thought were cool. The Video Mixtapes given out at the con were the Power Rangers Mixtape Vol. 1, TMNT Mixtape, a Bee and Puppycat Mixtape, and  DC Comics Dynamic Dames Mixtape. They were a big hit and we look forward to feedback. All in all the UM Anime Club did a great job of organizing an awesome event, so many thanks to them and their crew. I wasn't going to check out Hellcat but Pulp Secret sold me on it. When I go to get my comics tomorrow I'll grab it.  Also I'm due to grab Planet Hulk . The Hulk movie piqued my interest enough and I want to see the prologue to World War Hulk. I hope Avengers looks like this. I'm also thinking about grabbing Noble Causes. Faerber is right up their with Johns as far as top writers in comics currently. I'm currently reading Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and Batman: Year One.  My brother lent them to me and he's reading Wanted which he has got me interested in. I'll probably polish off Wanted by the end of the month. Haven't checked out the movie yet, not that interested.  It's sad to say because Hellboy is one of my top ten favorite movies, that I am now more looking forward to The Dark Knight than Hellboy 2: The Golden Army .  I'm in a Batman mood. I've been watching the  Batman the Animated Serie s and  Justice League episodes.

So this means that when the Martian Manhinter dies in Final Crisis they can bury him Catholic. Oh wait he's going to be cremated we Catholics frown upon that. Sorry, J'onn no Irish wake for you at Warriors. By the by, Scipio has a nifty post about the cause of the Martian's death and it's not fire.

I've recently started following Newsarama . I didn't have time before but now I do. So Newsarama has a great Speed Racer review that is as complimentary as mine. It also has the news that Meltzer is returning to the DCU. I figured someone else would have talked abut this by now but in case you haven't heard. You've just been served! It's interesting that he's going to work with Adam Kubert. Hopefully their projects get in on time and won't be as delayed as Kubert's Superman work. By the way I absolutely loved the Action Comics anual it was big and epic. Donner definitely brought a cinematic element to the story. It would make the perfect Superman movie, especially if you could have Bizzaro, Metallo, and Parasite in it. In other news, I was sure that the internets would be ablaze by the news that JMS is going to take over the Brave and the Bold . Not sure how spoilery to rate this but the Nozzle sounds like he's going to be certified badass. GO TEAM VENTURE!!!

This may possibly be fake seeing as today is April Fools Day. Slash Film is reporting that the Siegel's obtaining the rights to Superman, which is being talked about all over the internet , has resulted in Siegel signing Superman to Marvel for a Spiderman/Superman team-up movie to be co-directed by Singer and Raimi. Also if anyone has seen Southland Tales they are going to chat it up tonight at geeks of doom and always watching . I'll be there, I did it last week it was a lot of fun.
